Brisbane Meanjin, Queensland, Australia

50,000 years of history awaits

Project Scope: Concept/Positioning, Logo, Brand Identity
How It’s Made: Illustrator, Photoshop

The goal of this tourism campaign was to explicitly highlight, not just give a nod to, the rich Indigenous/Australian Aboriginal history of Brisbane - historically (and more correctly) known as Meanjin - the most populous city in Queensland, Australia.

There is a deeper history here that deserves to be learned, celebrated, and respected. The original stewards of the land should be elevated, and we should learn from them and hear their stories.
